PURPOSE:To avoid useless callback by a caller by allowing the called party to set a reply disable state in advance and informing the occurrence of an incoming call to a caller station when the incoming call reaches the called party. CONSTITUTION:When the user is not resident near the communication equipment or busy with other business, the user sets switch of a reply disable setting section 6 to the state of reply disable in advance. A control section 8 analyzes a reception signal from a protocol handler 9 and discriminates whether or not the call comes to its own station, and when the call reaches its own station, it is displayed on a display section 7. Moreover, in this case, when the switch of the reply disable setting section 6 is set to the state of disable reply, the control section 8 sends data representing disable reply to the protocol handler 9. Then the disable reply is informed to an opposite station via an antenna section 1. Thus, the caller recognizes it that the called party is in the reply disable state at present and succeeding useless calling is avoided. |
