Toothed belt of rubber or similar material are made by bending the material with the embedded reinforcing cords, specially steel cords, over a convex anvil and applying a profiling treatment in consecutive steps on the convex surface. The web can then be subdivided into belts by cuts parallel to the reinforcements.
