The invention relates to a steel bottle (cylinder) for a pressurised fluid of the type made up of a main tube which extends along a longitudinal axis and which is extended at one end by a laterally offset outlet pipe. According to the invention, the said end (1a) of the main tube (1) has been forged in order to exhibit a hemispherical shape, then pierced in order to exhibit an orifice (3) and the outlet pipe is made up of a pipe (5) which has been inserted into this orifice and welded to the main tube. The invention applies particularly to bottles intended to be incorporated in a drinks barrel in order to deliver this drink under pressure. <IMAGE>
