PURPOSE:To provide an emulation device which can shorten the test time and has the high analyzing efficiency of defects for an in-circuit emulator which performs the emulation especially in real time. CONSTITUTION:An emulation device 1 is provided with the storage means 2 and 5 performs the emulation of a tested processor 3. The means 2 and 5 store previously the reference data corresponding to the expected instruction executing results and output successively the reference data based on the external clock signal synchronous with the instruction executing cycle of the processor 3. A comparator 7 compares the executing result of the processor 3 with the reference data and outputs the comparison result. Then a controller 4 carries on and interrupts the emulation based on the result of the comparator 7. |
