<p>PURPOSE:To provide a deinking agent for the waste paper regeneration containing a specific fatty acid polyoxyalkylene ester, having excellent performance to separate and remove printing ink from waste newspaper, magazine, etc., and giving a deinked pulp having high whiteness and small number of residual ink spots. CONSTITUTION:The objective deinking agent for the regeneration of waste paper contains a fatty acid polyoxyalkylene ester having an average molecular weight of 300-8,000 and expressed by formula (R is 7-21C alkyl or alkenyl; PO is oxypropylene; AO is a mixed oxyalkylene consisting of oxyethylene and one kind of oxyalkylene such as oxyethylene, oxypropylene and oxybutylene; x is 1-20; y is 1-50; z is 1-50). The agent is added to an aqueous slurry in the regeneration of waste paper after the defibration and flotation of waste paper such as newspaper and magazine to exhibit excellent performance to separate and remove the printing ink and give a deinked pulp having high whiteness and small number of residual ink spots.</p> |
