PURPOSE:To provide a separating agent which has excellent separating perfor mance and is itself used as a stationary phase of fractional liquid chromatorgraphy without being borne on a carrier. CONSTITUTION:A polysaccharide arom. carbamate or a polysaccharide arom. aliph. carbamate is dissolved in an org. solvent, to which a 4-22C hydrocarbon in an amt. of 0 to 0.5 time by vol. that of the org. solvent is added. The resulting soln. is gradually added to an aq. soln. of a surfactant under sufficient stirring, which is further continued while removing the org. solvent to isolate solid particles, which are washed and dried to obtain a particulate polysaccharide arom. carbamate or polysaccharide arom. aliph. carbamate having an average diameter of 1 to 200mum and a specific surface are of 0.5 to 300m<2>/g. |
