PURPOSE:To provide a cement-free, colloidal silica base grout for ground and a method of grouting by using it, effective in, e.g. strengthening weak ground and stopping spring water. CONSTITUTION:A grout for ground, which comprises a mixture of an aqueous colloidal silica having a molar ratio of SiO3 to Na2O of at least 40 and sodium silicate aqueous solution having a high molar ratio of SiO2 to Na2O and which has a composition having a molar ratio of SiO2 to Na2O of 7.5 to 19 and an SiO2 content of 15-35wt.%; or which has a composition obtained by incorporating specified curing agent and cure accelerator into the aforementioned mixture. A method of grouting wherein the grout is injected into ground in one shot, in one and a half shot, or in two shots. |
