PURPOSE:To provide information by voice only in a necessary time and prevent a driver and a passenger from feeling displeased as in the case of regularly outputting a voice. CONSTITUTION:A present position is calculated by a control part 6 on the basis of the outputs of a direction sensor 1 and a vehicle speed sensor 2. A guide information such as a crossing corresponding to the calculated present position is read from a memory device 9 and stored in a RAM 8. When a voice output button 11 provided on a steering wheel is operated, the data in the RAM 8 is given to a voice output part 4, and the guide information is outputted by voice. |
