PURPOSE:To allow the user of a pag to eliminate the need for storing a reply specific number and to allow the operator receiving a public line call to eliminate the need for awaiting a reply of the user of the pager. CONSTITUTION:When a call to a telephone set 1 reaches public line trunk 2, a central processing unit 4 controls a switch 3 to connect the public line trunk 2 and the telephone set 1. The operator of the telephone set 1 replies the call and makes hooking at first to call the user of a pager receiver 8 from a pager and makes dialing to acquire the pager receiver 8 and hooks on the handset. When that dialing is made, the central processing unit 4 holds the public line trunk 2 and reads a reply specific number of the public line trunk 2 from a memory 5 and gives the signal to a pager transmitter 7 to allow it to make transmission to the pager receiver 8. Upon the receipt of the signal of the reply special number, the pager receiver 8 displays the received reply specific number onto a display section. |
