<p>An electrical switch assembly e.g. a contactor comprises a main contact pair (3) connected in series with an auxiliary contact pair (17). Solenoids (70, 71) are arranged to simultaneously close the contact pairs (3, 17) respectively. A pair of arms e.g. (61) is arranged to mechanically hold the auxiliary contact pair (17) in the closed circuit position when the solenoid (70) opens the main contact pair.</p> |
