<p>A high speed multiple conveyor packaging system having product separating bars (76) that separate a product (28) into specific sized groups on moving opposing conveyors (60). Two product streams diverge to meet the separating bars (76), and subsequently reconverge after separation for loading into a carton or package (106). Separated conveyed product (28) is channeled from opposing conveyors (66) into another conveyed product carton (106) from opposing carton ends. A tight package is formed by sets of formed guide bars (130, 132) which cause the package flaps to be stretched or formed to the position of maximum tightness about the product (28).</p> |
