<p>The invention relates to a device for mounting a driving mechanism of a windshield wiper, this mechanism comprising an output shaft (24) capable of passing through an opening (28) made in a windshield (14) and of receiving a windscreen wiper arm (26) for wiping one surface (18) of the windshield. The device comprises a support plate (30) capable of being fixed to the windshield (14), opposite the surface to be wiped, using adhesive means (32) and of being fixed to the driving mechanism (12) by connection means (34).
