COMMUNICATION SWITCHING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize bandwidth by the communication switching system including terminal equipments NN1 to NN4 which are coupled through a switched communication link and a control means which sets a permanent virtual connection of estimated bandwidth for the said link between >=1 couple of the said terminal devices. CONSTITUTION: This system is equipped with counters CO1 to CO2 which record reserved estimated bandwidth, measuring means MC1 to MC3 which measure the bandwidth used for the permanent virtual connection, and 2nd control means CLS1 to CLS3 which compare the used bandwidth with the estimated bandwidth and adapt bandwidth assigned for a communication among the terminal equipments NN1 to NN3 according to the result of the comparison.
