The turbo-supercharger has an impeller (4) subject to radial flow and a distributor (7) with blades (6, 19). Part of the side wall of the distributor on the exit side of the turbine acts as a regulator (8) to alter the cross section of flow, and the opposite wall of the distributor is fixed to the bearing housing (22). The regulator adjusts the height of the blades projecting into the flow, and the blades are retracted into recesses which match the blade profiles. The edges (23) of the recesses (10) are turned towards the flow channel (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - Reduces wear and removing blade deposits.
