House-door-frame cladding - has protrusions on covering strip inserted at rebate and soffit sides

The cladding is for a door-frame fixed in a house wall, the soffit, rebate and decorative sides each being covered by a flat plate. A covering strip, bent at several points is fitted in the rebate, and to this in turn a sealing strip is fixed, against which a door-leaf bears. The covering strip(50) has protrusions (52,54) fitting in the edges of the cover plates (32) at the rebate and soffit sides (18,20). The sealing strip(56) is fixed to the protrusion (54) engaging in the plate (32) at the soffit side(20). This protrusion can be hollow, the sealing strip having a holding rib(58) inserted in it. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple and rapid installation of house door-frame cladding which allows old door leaf to be used again.
