A seondary-side residual heat removal system for a pressurised water reactor (R) is used to remove the residual heat via the secondary side of a steam generator (D1) in certain operational and emergency situations. To this end the steam generator (D1) has a connection (d1-d2, d3) on the fresh steam and feed water side to the secondary side of a safety condenser (SK1) wherein the connection (d3) on the feed water side is taken to the supply union (S) of a swirl chamber valve (WV), the control connector (c) of which is coupled to a feed water line section (d51) downward of the main feed water pump (P2) and the outlet (E) of which opens into the feed water inflow chamber (C2) of the steam generator (D1). The tertiary side of the safety condenser (SK1) is fed from a geodetically higher water tank (B); the steam generated is discharged into the atmosphere via a blow-off line with a separator if necessary. The energy is transported on the secondary side by natural circulation owing to the geodetically higher position of the safety condenser (SK1) in relation to the steam generator (D1).
|
