POWER SAVING DEVICE IN WHICH TIMING IS TAKEN

PURPOSE: To provide a device which reduces the electric power consumption in inductive or resistive load and more particularly, public illumination systems. CONSTITUTION: This device is composed of an electronic timer 1, a half-wave current rectifier 2 which are connected in parallel with the electronic timer 1 and four pieces of fixed resistors 3 which are coupled in parallel with this half-wave current rectifier (diode) 2 and are selected by a switch 4, all of which are connected to a phase line 5. This phase line 5 is connected in series to certain one piece of electric lamp or one group of the electric lamps existing in parallel with a conductor 7 which is normally neutral or in separate phase. When the timer 1 is off, an electric current flows to the diode 2 and the resistor 3 and activates a save system. The current flows ordinarily to the load 6 by bypassing the diode 2 and the resistors 3.
