PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber composite sheet, in vyhich physical properties are hardly dispersed, with excellent productivity by equalizing the distribution of a thermoplastic resin and fibers. CONSTITUTION:A reinforced fiber bundle F1 composed of a large number of continuous monofilaments is passed in the fluidized bed R of a powdered thermoplastic resin, and the powdered thermoplastic resin is attached onto each monofilament of the fiber bundle F1. A resin-attached fiber bundle F2 is cut in fixed length, and a cut resin-attached fiber bundle F3 is brought into contact successively with at least two revolving rolls 9 arranged at a required interval in the oblique direction from an upper section, and dropped and accumulated onto a feeding-in section 11b to the clearance of upper and lower endless belts 10, 11 oppositely faced at a regular interval. Lastly, a cut resin-attached fiber stack F4 is fed into the clearance of both endless belts 10, 11, and the stack F4 is passed through heating and cooling regions 12, 13 while being held by both moving endless belts 10, 11, thus forming a sheet S. |
