PURPOSE:To mass-produce the subject compound which is a macrolide-based antibiotic substance at a low cost by adding dotriacolides such as substances MG299A, MG299B and their salts, etc., and culturing a microorganism capable of producing mycinamins in a culture medium. CONSTITUTION:A frozen microorganism [e.g. Micromonospora griseovirda A11725 (FERM BP-795)] capable of producing mycinamins is inoculated into a culture medium and cultured at ambient temperature for 42hr. The resultant culture solution is used as a seed culture solution and transplanted into a culture medium comprising a mycinamins-production enhancer containing one or more dotriacolides such as substances MG299A, MG299B and their salts, etc., as an active ingredient added thereto and cultured at 30 deg.C for 4 days by rotation spinner culture, etc. The obtained culture is subsequently filtered to separate microbial cells by filtration. The filtrate is extracted with butyl acetate, etc., to concentrate the extract solution. The obtained concentrate is purified by high-performance liquid chromatography to afford the objective mycinamins expressed by formula I (A is O or single bond; R1, R2 and R6 are H or CH3; R3 is 0, etc.; R4 is H or group expressed by formula II; R5 is H or O OH; Q is CH3, CH2OH, etc.). |
