<p>PURPOSE:To provide a compound useful as a reactional substrate for asymmetric synthesis and used when a monosaccharide having a side chain is synthesized, in optically and three-dimensionally excellent selectivity. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula 1 [R<1> is group of formula 2 (R<3> is easily releasable protecting group), CH3, phenylalkyl, cyclohexyl, group of formula 3, group of formula 4; R<2> is H, (substituted) alkyl]. The compound is produced as follows: e.g. reacting allenyl methyltrimethylsilane with (R,R)-2,4-pentylacetal in the presence of a Lewis acid, subjecting the reactional product to a Swan oxidation and subsequently to an alkali treatment, epoxidizing the produced sym-1-benzyloxyethyl(1,3-butadien-2-yl) methanol in the presence of a V catalyst, reducing the obtained compound of formula 6, subjecting the reduced product to a methoxymethylation, hydroborating and oxidizing the produced compound of formula 7 to form an alcohol compound, subjecting the alcohol compound to a Swan oxidation, acetal reaction and methylation, and subsequently removing the protecting group from the produced compound of formula 8 to produce the objective L-alkanose of formula 9.</p> |
