The hand-gun (1) has a trigger (3) which slides in the direction (F) in a horizontal guide. The trigger (3) causes an intermediate member (9) to slide horizontally against the force of a compression spring. The intermediate member (9) has an arm (9') with a recess at its outer end which engages the tip of a lever (6) when the intermediate member is fully retracted. When the trigger (3) is released the compression spring drives the intermediate member (9) in the direction (B) and causes the lever (6) to rotate in the anti-clockwise direction. USE/ADVANTAGE - Hand-gun which does not fire the cartridge until the trigger is released.
