The X-ray tube head handle (5) is designed as a frame held spaced from the wall (4) of the tube (1) housing (2) and dimensioned so that it does not project beyond the housing edge. The handling part (8) of the handle (5) is in bow form off the housing wall (4) and describes a plane set at right angles or an obtuse angle to the wall (4). The tube head is adjustably carried on a holder (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - Hospital equipment, X-ray facilities. Handle remains within main housing outline throughout head movement and thus without obstructing head or patient settings etc.
