<p>PURPOSE:To provide a photocoupler capable of high-speed transfer with reduced operating current. CONSTITUTION:A photocoupler is composed of a semiconductor laser element 1 and a photodetector 2. The semiconductor laser element has emission edges 1a and 1b coated with a protective film. The protective film is made of two or more layers of different compositions to increase its reflectivity compared with a single-layer protective film.</p> |
