The invention relates to methods for assembling funeral monument elements made up of at least one underframe formed of elements (1 to 4) arranged in a rectangle and capped with a tombstone. They consist in assembling the said elements of the underframe (1 to 4) by means of angle brackets (6) provided at each corner of the said underframe, the vertical faces of two adjacent underframe elements (i and i+1) being respectively fixed to the perpendicular wings (legs) (6a and 6b) of the corresponding angle bracket (6). The said angle brackets (6) include at least a third wing (leg) (6c) orthogonal to the other two (6a and 6b) resting and fixed to a holding slab (5, 13) orthogonal to the underframe elements (1 to 4). The invention also relates to funeral monuments assembled according to the said methods. <IMAGE>
