PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply method capable of supplying a power source a driving motor by making use of conductivity of lattice members themselves constituting an expansion gate door. SOLUTION: In an automatic opening an shutting expansion gate door expanding a movable stile 8 and a fixed stile 9 from one end to the other end and a plurality of frame bodies 10 arranged between both stiles to a doorway installed at a site of a building by a pantograph mechanism of the lattice members 15, a driving wheel 17 and a driving motor 20 is provided to the movable stile, and the power source 26 is electrically connected to the motor 20 through the pantograph mechanism to supply electricity.
