The present invention relates to a device which can be used in semi-adiabatic mode for heating premises and in adiabatic mode for cooking foodstuffs. This device is made up of heat economisers with labyrinth-type heating bodies with multiple restitution of heat energy by convection and radiation. It is made up of several labyrinth-type heating bodies made up of metallic units and units made of refractory clay (A, F, B) either good conductors or poor conductors of heat, which store up and restore the heat depending on their individual heat capacities, the available heat restored resulting definitively from the sum of the quantity of heat emitted by the hottest blocks and which is recovered by a neighbouring effect by the coldest blocks.
