The invention relates to metal kegs designed so as to reduce the volume of the remnants of products left in these kegs after use, and more especially in the case of liquid or viscous products. The keg consists of a ferrule (2) arranged along the axis of the keg, of a bottom (1) and of a lid (12) fitted with plugs (11); the bottom (1) of the keg forms a body of revolution comprising a central domed part (5), curved inwards, a channel (7) fixed to the circumference of this dome, this channel being connected to the base of an inverted cone segment (9) which widens out as far as the wall of the ferrule (2). The keg makes it possible, without additional operation, markedly to reduce the quantity of products left in metal kegs after use. <IMAGE>
