<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of creases and breakage of a paper sheet when a paper feeding cassette is pulled out. CONSTITUTION:A paper feeding mechanism is equipped with a paper feeding roller 1 for feeding paper sheets, and an advance suppressing part 3 which can contact the paper feeding roller 1 by the utilization of an urging means 2 and prevents the double feed of paper sheets, and the advance suppressing part 3 has an operated part 4, and during the time when a paper feeding cassette 5 is in a pulled-out state, an action part 6 installed on the paper feeding cassette 5 acts directly or indirectly onto the operated part 4 of the advance suppressing part 3, and the advance suppressing part 3 is separated from the paper feeding roller 1 against the urging force of the urging means 2.</p> |
