INJECTION MOLDING METHOD OF IONOMER

PURPOSE:To provide a method by which an injection molding cycle can effectively be shortened without greatly importing excellent properties of the ionomer. CONSTITUTION:A 5-40 pts.wt. ionomer having the solidification temperature >=65 deg.C is added as a crystallization promotor on the basis of a 100 pts.wt. ionomer having the solidification temperature &h60 deg.C and injection molding is performed. Normally an ionomer of an ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer having little content of unsaturated carboxylic acid is used as the ionomer having the high solidification point like this, the solidification point is raised by a small quantity of compounding of the same and an injection molding cycle can be reduced.
