摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent bad speed change control attributed to the difference between required and actual quantities of intake air by reducing a correction factor representing the ratio of required quantity of intake air to actual quantity of intake air where required and actual quantities of intake air are small. CONSTITUTION:A transmission control computer 34 switches and controls the speed change stages of an automatic speed change gear 68 according to predetermined speed change conditions depending upon the quantity of intake air, the opening of a throttle valve, the number of revolutions of an engine, and velocity. To control speed changes properly, a correction factor K1 representing the ratio of required quantity of intake air to actual quantity of intake air which is determined using the opening of a throttle valve and the number of revolutions of the engine is determined. However, where the required and actual quantities of intake air are small, a modified correction factor MK is determined so that the amount of correction by the correction factor K1 will be smaller and is used to correct shift up or down velocity. This allows preventing bad speed change control attributed to the difference between required and actual quantities of intake air.
