PURPOSE:To reduce the loss in switching elements constructing an inverter and the generation of noise, in an induction heating cooker of an inverter structure. CONSTITUTION:An inverter circuit 2 constructed with a 1st. resonant capacitor 6 connected to a heating coil 5 in series, a diode 9 connected to the capacitor 6 in parallel, a reverse current stopping type switching element 3 and a reverse current conducting type switching element 4, and a 2nd resonant capacitor 8 connected to the switching element 4 in parallel, is conducted alternately at a constant frequency. Where, with an operating section 7a in a control circuit 7 varying the conduction ratio, a turned-on mode is made not to appear and the voltage variation in turned-off periods is made low. |
