<p>PURPOSE:To get a cable expander which expands a plurality of cables by pulling the middle parts of them. CONSTITUTION:A mobile table 38, which moves between supporting plates 24 and 26, is attached to a cable expander 10. In this mobile table 38, a pair of clamps 40 and 42 U-shaped in cross section are arranged with the recess opposed to each other, and are combined with each other whereby a nearly circular cable catching part of optional size is made. The clamp 40 is fixed in the optional position in the direction of contact and separation of the clamp 42 by a handle 50, and the clamp 42 is shifted in the direction of contact and separation to and from the clamp 40 by a clamp 64. On the side of the supporting plate 26, the clamp 42 is shifted to the position contiguous to the clamp 40 by a clamp, and the table is caught between it and the clamp 40. If it is shifted to the side of the supporting plate 24 in this condition, the clamp 42 is separated from the clamp 40 by the clank, and the cable catching condition between it and the clamp 40 is released.</p> |
