PURPOSE:To constitute a system which has less redundancy and is superior in extensibility by standardizing information communicated in a CIM. CONSTITUTION:Devices for information storage, devices for information processing, and devices for information transmission out of information processors generalizing respective divisions in the manufacturing industry and system elements constituting production cells in respective production processes are abstracted with respect to each function, and states are defined. Production processes are abstracted to give identifiers of processes, and identifiers and additional information are combined to generate an identifier of a production object. A data base server b4 as one object which can be accessed from information processors generalizing respective divisions is so defined that additional information of the production object can be centralizedly stored. Protocols communicated between objects are defined by abstracted identifiers of processes and additional information. |
