PURPOSE:To provide a recording material giving a highly stabilized developed image and having a high NOx resistance by using a specific fluoran compound. CONSTITUTION:A fluoran compound represented by the formula, wherein R1 and R2 are independently a 1-8 C alkyl group, a 3-8 C alkoxyalkyl group or a phenyl group that may be substituted; R1 and R2 may be bonded with each other to form a pyrrolidine or piperidine ring; R3 is a 1-6 C alkyl group; and R4 and R5 are independently a 1-5 C alkyl group. |
