<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the strength of and sealing for a joint part regardless of the wall thickness or the material sort of a main pipe and a branch pipe to be coupled therewith by eliminating such problems as dislocation and small dia. internal flow-path caused by joining. CONSTITUTION:A spherical surface fitting part 12 is formed from a partially spherical recess 8 of a joint and the spherical surface 10 of a connecting tool 4. An exhaust pipe is connected with a main pipe 2 by first applying an adhesive (fixing means) 13 to at least either of the over-surface 2a of the main pipe and the bottom surface (fixation surface) 7a of the joint formed with the same radius of curvature as that of the main pipe over surface 2a, and then securing the joint to the same surface 2a. Adhesive 13 is applied to at least either of the partially spherical recess 8 and the spherical surface 10 part of the connecting tool 4, and the angle of a coupling socket 11 of the connecting tool 4, where the end of the exhaust pipe is connected, is set before the adhesive solidifies through utilization of the abovementioned spherical surface fitting part 12, and fixation is executed. The adhesive used may be a one in high viscosity epoxy resin series of two liquid mixing type.</p> |
