The lock has a semi-circular guideway(15) installed around the pivot bolt (3) which connects the guide block(4) to the cross member (2). In the ground region of the vehicle, the guideway permits a vertical movement corresponding to the minimum clearance above the ground, and on the outside of the vehicle permits larger vertical movement of the lock body (1) owing to a reduced height of the guideway.
