This device is used for controlling the pressure strength of a writing element on paper, in a charting plotter, various other writing elements, various smoothness of the paper, and various charting speeds. The device is technological, simple in construction and very reliable. It ensures a precise tuning, and the potential geometrical deviations from the size of the profiled shaft do not exert influence on the pressure strength and the image quality. The carrier (1) of the replaceable writing element (2) is fastened statically to a console (3), connected to a slider (4) by an axis (5). The slider is located on drivers (6), fastened statically onto supports (7). Parallel to the drivers is a profiled shaft (8), connected to a step electro-motor (9). Fastened onto the slider axis are shafted a lever (11) and a console (3), to which a lamella (12) is fastened. The profiled shaft (8) is enclosed by the lamella; fastened to one end of the lever is a peg (14), with an attached spring (15); the other end is connected to the console (3) by a screw (16) and a nut (17).
