The plug has a main body that can be connected with a filler pipe and which has bore with check valves. It has sealing element that expands against the wall of the hole. The sealing element (11) is a circular closed flexible tube arranged between a fixed abutment (14) on the outlet side and a movable abutment (15) on the inlet side. This element (11) is filled with a hard granular material. USE/ADVANTAGE - Holes bored for various purposes in underground mining or tunnelling, can be sealed with this plug, which even when the hole is uneven, provides a strong safe seal.
