<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to cope with an increase in the number of cartridge to be stored and an increase in recording and reproducing capacity without increasing the number of device to be installed. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism part 2 and a control part 3 are provided in a box unit 1 of rectangular parallelepiped. The space between the mechanism part 2 and the control part 3 except a portion performing a ventilation is interrupted by a partition plate 11. In an intake hole 8 provided on the side of the mechanism part 2 of the body 1 interrupted by the partition plate 11, a filter 9 and an intake fans 10a, 10b are arranged. In a ventilation hole 12 provided on the side of the control part 3 of the body 1, a ventilation fan 13 is arranged. The mechanism part 2 is composed of drive devices 4a-4d, storage racks 5a-5f, a carrier mechanism 6 and a cartridge loading mechanism 7. The drive devices 4a-4d and the storage racks 5a-5f have roughly the same heights and widths, respectively and are arranged by being piled so that they may be opposing to each other holding the carrier mechanism 6 between them.</p> |
