PURPOSE:To efficiently execute both of light emission for preventing a red-eye phenomenon and auxiliary light emission in the case of passive automatic focusing by one auxiliary light source. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary lamp 7 incorporated in a camera is provided in addition to a storoboscopic light source. When a red-eye phenomenon preventing mode is selected, a CPU 12 executes the preliminary light emission by the lamp 7. When it is a low-brightness state in the case of the passive automatic focusing, the CPU 12 similarly executes the auxiliary light emission by the lamp 7. |
