The motor vehicle, which can be used especially for town driving, includes a bed having a central part which is lowered with respect to the front and rear end parts, carrying at least two rows of seats. Each of the seats (12) of the rear row includes a back rest which folds onto the raised rear part of the bed, and a seat cushion articulated to the back rest, the layout of the axes about which the back rest folds onto the rear part and about which the seat cushion folds onto the back rest being such that, in the folded forwards position of the seat, the whole of the seat cushion and of the back rest places itself in the lowered part of the bed, the back rest being substantially in the same horizontal plane as the rear part. <IMAGE>
