The dispensing device (1) comprises a container (2) containing the liquid (L) under pressure and provided with a dispensing valve (3). The container (2) is divided into two chambers (5, 6) by a composite piston (4) which comprises two rigid flanges (9, 10) clamping between them a deformable element (11) made from an elastic material. This deformable element (11) has a cross-section whose external contour has a substantially elliptical shape whose convex section (13) is intended to press against the internal surface of the container (2) in order to establish fluid-tightness between the two chambers (5, 6); the two flanges (9, 10) have radial play with respect to the internal surface of the container (2) such that they can slide freely and comprise surfaces (9a, 10a) capable of closely fitting against this element's adjacent surface. <IMAGE>
