PURPOSE:To print a series of numbers on an article during a printing process by parallelly arranging a plurality of numbering devices between a pair of the discs fixed to the main shaft of a plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When the printing members 12 of the respective numbering devices A of a plate cylinder 3 are set to a start position at the time of printing to start printing to an article 2, the printing member of a figure of one operates a stopper 42 so as to once fix a cam 36 during one revolution of the plate cylinder 3 to set a state applying printing like 1, 2, 3... and the numbering device of a figure of 10 operates the stopper 42 once at each time when the plate cylinder 3 makes 10 revolutions to once fix the cant 36 per 10 times to advance a printing body 29 by one pitch. Hereinbelow, in the same way, the stopper 42 is operated once in the case of a figure of 100 at each time when the plate cylinder 3 makes 100 revolutions and operated once in the case of a figure of 1000 at each time when the plate cylinder 3 makes 1000 revolutions. |
