PURPOSE:To make a glass tube formable into U-shaped type without fail, by guiding the revolution of a chuck around a main shaft with a first cam, while controlling the rotation of the chuck with a second cam. CONSTITUTION:When turning frames 4a and 4b are turned round in each direction of arrows A and B, each of first cam rollers 25a and 25b attached to turning shafts 15a and 15b roll in contact along cam surface 30a and 30b of a first cam 28 so that a chuck on the turning shaft also shifts its locus along these cam surfaces 30a and 30b and is revolved around a main shaft 3. Each of second cam rollers 27a and 27b is shifted as rolled in contact with cam surfaces 32a and 32b of a second cam 29. Therefore, these turning shafts 15a and 15b are rotated in following these cam surfaces 32a and 32b of the second cam 29. Accordingly, the chuck also rotates and makes a nipping part of the glass tube direct toward the main shaft 3 all the time, thus a straight line part continuing to a U-shaped part is secured. |
