PURPOSE:To provide a composition for a refrigerating machine, wherein a tetrafluoroethane is sufficiently miscible with a polyether oil so that the functions such as the prevention of friction, wear, and seizure at the sliding part of a compressor, etc., can be sufficiently revealed. CONSTITUTION:A composition for a refrigerating machine, which is composed essentially of a tetrafluoroethane and a polyether oil made by using a polyglycerin as initiator to form an alkylene oxide adduct and alkylate the terminal hydroxyl groups. |
