PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic toner having proper magnetic force, capable of accurate recognition of a magnetic reading sign with MICR, hardly causing the exfoliation of an image and a magnetic body even by friction with a magnetic head at the time of magnetic reading, having excellent durability and environmental stability, especially stability in environment at high temp. and humidity and preventing the scratch of a photosensitive body and filming due to the scratch. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic toner is composed essentially of a binding resin and a magnetic body. The residual magnetization (sigmarm) of the magnetic body is 7-24, the residual magnetization (sigmart) of the toner is >4.2-7, the amt. W of the magnetic body in the toner is 30-70wt.% and the shape of the fine powder of the magnetic body is irregular. |
