Christmas tree tone generator - uses decorative tone elements with controlled on=off switch in mains stage

The tone generator (5) uses a number of relatively spaced tone elements (11) coupled to the electrical supply in a cable lead (9) with a plug (7) at its free end and an intermediate mains stage (6) incorporating a controled ON-OFF switch. When the tone generator (5) is switched on it provides a selected tone sequence, e.g. corresponding to a Christmas carol tune. Pref., each of the tone element (11) has an associated change for attaching it to a branch of the tree, the tone elements (11) pref. acting as Christmas tree decorations.
