PURPOSE:To prevent production of knocking securely by providing a knock detecting means for detecting knocking condition of each cylinder, a knock judgment means, an injection timing control means, and an ignition timing control means. CONSTITUTION:A detected analog signal from a knock sensor 2A is taken into a waveform shaping part 25a of a combustion control part 25, the signal is transformed into a digital signal and output to a knock judgment part 25b. Based on the result judged by the knock judgment means 25b, if heavy knock is produced, a cylinder in which knocking is produced is set to a stratified combustion condition. Namely, a fuel injection timing by an injector 11 is set at the top dead center by an injection timing control means 25d, and the injection time is set rather shorter. Thus the stratified combustion is carried out, and the production of knocking can be suppressed completely. |
