PURPOSE:To provide the distortion device by which a distorted waveform can freely be controlled by a user. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 35 reads a distortion table out of a TROM 37 according to a switch input from a console 7, alters its contents and further corrects them by convolution, and stores the altered and corrected distortion table in a TRAM 36. A DSP 32 receives an analog signal alpha outputted by a pickup 5 as a digital signal beta from an AD converter 31, reads data corresponding to the signal beta of the distortion table out of the TRAM 36, and outputs it as a digital signal f(beta) to a DA converter 33. The DA converter 33 converts the digital signal f(beta) into an analog signal and outputs it to an output jack 8 through a variable resistor 6'. |
