Method of production of slab of reconstituted stone - involves filling mould from hopper equipped with rotor
摘要
The flat slab of reconstituted stone is formed in a mould (14) which is supported on a table (10). A mixture of ground stone and a liquid polymer is distributed over the floor of the mould by a hopper (20). The hopper is mounted on wheels (40) which run on rails on opposite sides of the mould. A rotor (78) is mounted inside the hopper. The rotor has radial blades and is rotated by the motor (86) which also drives the hopper (20) along the rails so that the rotor rotates as the hopper moves along the rails. On reaching the end of the table, the motion of the hopper is reversed as is the direction of rotation of the rotor. USE/ADVANTAGE - Production of flat slabs of reconstituted stone. The slab is formed from a uniform mixture of ground stone and liquid polymer.
